Food Safety Policy

At White City Hotels, we aim to prepare and present the finest flavors from traditional Turkish and world cuisines in accordance with hygiene standards, meeting the expectations of both guests and staff through the Cullinan Quality Management System (CQM) and trained personnel. All processes, from food acceptance to consumption, are kept under control. While ensuring safety, we take preventive measures to reduce costs and increase profitability by following technological advancements, minimizing resource usage, and integrating suppliers into our auditing and training processes to raise awareness of safe food practices among local producers.

Environmental and Sustainability Policy

White City Hotels evaluates the environmental impact of all institutional actions and strives to minimize negative outcomes, aiming to eliminate them whenever possible. We focus on contributing to the development of local communities through all our activities. We work to use energy resources as efficiently as possible and minimize waste generation, guiding both employees and guests toward increased environmental awareness. Our goal is to reduce the use of natural resources and increase the use of recycled products. We are prepared for risks related to pollution and emergencies (fire, explosion, flood, earthquake, leakage, etc.) and fully comply with environmental legal regulations.

Hotel management requires the use of significant natural resources, and we take this responsibility seriously. At White City Hotels, we integrate environmental management into key roles across our organization. We aim to meet the high standards required for the Sustainable Development Goals within our hotel. To enhance our competitiveness, we implement a variety of waste reduction programs throughout all operational departments under the motto “Zero Waste.” This initiative focuses on transitioning to a circular economy, preventing waste, protecting the environment, reducing pollution, raising public awareness, and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle for the future. In cases where waste is unavoidable, we ensure its separation, paying special attention to hazardous waste for proper recycling and disposal. We also provide regular training to our employees to ensure the continuous integration of waste reduction practices and encourage suggestions for improvement.

Towards Carbon Offsetting and Zero Carbon Initiatives

This includes using fuel-efficient vehicles, high-energy efficiency technologies, and energy sources that produce minimal carbon emissions. We are committed to making green choices and encouraging all our stakeholders to follow suit, fostering the growth of renewable energy supply on behalf of White City Hotels.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, White City Hotels is taking a significant step towards zero-emission electricity generation through the ongoing Solar Power Plant project. This initiative ensures that our energy consumption is supplied from renewable sources, helping to neutralize carbon emissions and reduce our environmental impact.

At White City Hotels, energy consumption is closely monitored to achieve annual reductions and minimize carbon emissions. We equip our teams with the latest technical services and knowledge to identify innovations in technology and renewable energy systems that enable us to reduce our environmental impact while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

We continuously assess energy savings through regular maintenance, oversight, and monitoring. Our upcoming investment projects are planned with a focus on energy production and minimizing our environmental footprint, specifically by incorporating renewable energy sources. By implementing a cogeneration system, we produce both electrical and thermal energy on-site, reclaiming the thermal energy generated during electricity production and reintegrating it into the system to achieve significant energy savings.

At White City Hotels, we recognize the value of water resources and are committed to reducing our consumption each year. We ensure that all water sources, including greywater, are disposed of properly in accordance with local regulations, without negatively impacting the surrounding environment or local populations.

To promote water efficiency, we prioritize landscape plants that require minimal water and use smart irrigation systems. Water savings are further achieved through the installation of low-flow and dual-flush bathroom fixtures. Our employee training emphasizes the importance of protecting water resources and raising awareness about consumption. Guests are also reminded of conservation measures via information channels on their room televisions, encouraging their participation in water-saving efforts.
